The endowment was established one year after the foundation’s inception in 1991 when we began funding projects for schools and community groups. The Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff Education Foundation has strived to build an endowment that would allow grant awards for programs that:
- expand educational opportunities
- promote school, family, business and community partnerships
- encourage life-long learning
The Board of Trustees consists of nine members, a legal advisor and ex-facto members including the Superintendent of Schools and a member of the Grandview Heights School Board. The term for serving on the board is 3 years but a member can serve an additional 3 years if they choose. All members of the board serve as volunteers and work very hard to build the endowment, choose grants wisely and serve the community. The current board of trustees includes:
